Yes, the Iron & Haft Apprentice Cargo Work Pants is first and foremost a work pant. We wanted to create something for the hardworking guy that isn't necessarily tactical, but he knows how to get his hands dirty. We feel like the Apprentice Pant is the perfect solution! This pant gives you the critical features and durability you need, and leaves out the frills and gimmicks that you don't need. These are classic cargo work pants that will be comfortable, last a long time, and save you money!
Some of the critical features we added to make sure this pant qualified as a work pant are a hammer loop (positioned on the left side), internal knee pads pockets, a reinforced heel to prevent wear, and cargo pocket top flap pass throughs that are a great quick access option.

Finally found the pants I was searching for!
This is correct cut for me. The pants move with my body and help me get my work done instead of getting in the way. The sizing couldn’t be better. The integrated knee pads proved to be something that I didn’t know that I needed. I am coming from wearing BDUs and/or ACUs and/or DBUs. Those are rather challenging to find the correct fit especially in Nyco material. I was considering having them altered (which would defeat the economy of the pants) until I found the Benchmark work pants.

Great work pants
The Benchmark work pants are a great value, fit well and so far stand up to the horrible things that get thrown at and on them in the daily gauntlet that is my concrete job. The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the ‘change/watch’ pocket being so dang deep. It’s probably made that way to accommodate a clip, but I’m not packing at work and if you DO put change in there you better not be sweaty or in a hurry because it’s gonna take a few minutes to get it.

Works as expected.
Seem to be tough pants. Wish it had a different button style. I would like to see theses or something similar lighter in weight. I work in the Florida heat with 100% humidity at times. So far they are holding up well. Just wish I could find something cooler for the heat and humidity.

These are great pants. They fit great around the waist, a little bit long though. Rugged pants. LAPGEAR was quick at getting them to me. I do wish they carried more variety of colors.
