Description
The Iron & Haft Everyday Joe Short is a high performance casual short, excellent for everyday and casual wear. The cotton/spandex fabric is durable and will last many washes, but still has stretch to give you the flexibility you need in a short. This casual EDC short packs in 8 pockets still, but you'd never know that by looking at it. The stealthy pockets allow you to easily conceal your EDC items and valuables. The pockets were also perfectly sized to carry everything you need comfortably, all while allowing you to blend in and stay comfortable.
8 Pocket Configuration:
- (2) Front pockets - deep enough for whatever you need to carry
- (2) Rear hip pockets - perfect size for rifle mags, cell phones, etc.
- (2) Rear patch pockets - open top for quick access to wallet or other items
- (1) Utility pocket (left side of thigh) - great open top pocket for quick access
- (1) Zipper pocket (right side of thigh) - perfect for phone, wallet, or any EDC items

Every pair or shorts needs hip pockets
The hip mag/phone pocket is a game changer. I buy my pants based on those pockets these days. These shorts have said pocket so I like the shorts. The reason for 4 stars is because the fabric is stiff. Even after several washes the shorts are stiff and unforgiving.

Better than expected
Anyone in LE thats athletic would appreciate and admire the quality. These shorts not only fit perfectly, they flex and stretch in all the right places you would want them to. Also, extremely good and durable quality. Will take a couple wears with the material, but none the less will fit perfectly.

Be nice if theyd get size 32ù and 34ù back in stock for grey and tan. Been trying to buy this short for over 8 months and still not in stock. Was able to purchase the pants version of these and theyre great, just wish I could get the shorts.

Great except
The belt loops are the thinnest belt loops ever would love to see at the very least the rear belt loop be beefy as hell and double the width on the rest Otherwise comfortable and fit great as a tall dude woth tiny legs the length is perfect

These shorts have a relaxed fit, material is stretchy, which is great for construction or just walking/hiking. The pockets work out great, like the slash pocket and additional back pockets that can be used for Mag's or really anything else you want to carry. All in All, nice shorts at a good price

I love the design, hate the material.
Love the fit and design but it seems like the material is a magnet for any type of hair. If you have any pets you might want to not wear these around them or get a color that doesn't show up as a contrast. My navy blue picks up tan dog's fur like a nightmare. Pockets are great. I can slip my Samsung S23 Ultra into the left rear hip yoke pocket and have it slightly exposed or slide it into the angled thigh pocket and it work fine. Good room for other EDC items without making you feel as if everything's congealing to one side or area. These would've been a 5 star for me if it hadn't been for the fabric being so static cling.
